Free Comic Writing Workshop - July 26

Live Dinnerview Series – weekly at 7pm

Typically hosted in written format at Entropy Magazine, Dinnerview is a food-focused interview series with contemporary poets, writers, editors, and other literary figures. The series asks writers about favorite meals, food quirks, and really, what sustains them through the sometimes-difficult act of writing.  

Danielle Susi Dittmore jpgAbout Danielle Susi: Danielle is the author of the chapbook The Month in Which We Are Born (dancing girl press, 2015). Her writing has appeared in Knee-Jerk Magazine, Hobart, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. Her full-length manuscript A River Always Ends at a Mouth, has been selected as a semi-finalist for both the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize at Persea Books and the Hudson Prize at Black Lawrence Press. She received her MFA in Writing from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has studied and performed improvisational comedy at iO Chicago, The Second City, and many other locations around the country. Additionally, she is an award-winning journalist, having received an Excellence in Political Journalism Award from The Washington Center and a shared National Mark of Excellence Award from the Society of Professional Journalists. Among other things, she is a freelance food writer, fiber artist, professor, gallery coordinator, and curator of the acclaimed interview series, Dinnerview.
