Consider applying to join our Board of Directors! This is a group of dedicated individuals who work to support the organizational mission, ensure financial stability and help the organization to evolve and thrive.
We’re looking for applicants who are passionate about the arts, who can contribute to increasing support and awareness, and who are willing to provide unique perspectives, ideas and action to support organizational growth and evolution.
We currently have up to four seats open for this cycle and are particularly interested in applicants who have expertise or skills in fundraising, education, accessibility, or inclusion. The commitment to serve is for a term of three years beginning October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2028.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis the first Thursday of each month until available seats have been filled.
About Our Process
- All applications will first be reviewed by current board members without identifying information. Decisions will be made strictly based on your answers in the "Getting to Know You" section of the application, your capacity to support the Utah Arts Festival's goals, mission and values, and ability to meet the requirements listed.
- After initial review, selected candidates will be invited to a meet-and-greet for a chance to ask questions, get to know current members and staff, and see if the opportunity is right for all involved.
- A member of the board will follow-up within a week of the meet-and-greet regarding the status of your application.
