The Swinging Lights are an Americana/Rock band consisting of 5 Utahns singing Utah-centric songs for Utahns. They couldn't make it not Utah-centric because they are all from Utah. This self-awareness sets TSL apart from most other Utah bands that try to pretend they are not Utahn while still making sweet, juicy Utah sounds.
