This Festival does not build itself. We could not do this without the amazing local talent and dedicated souls who bring their best creativity to the event every year. Maggie Willis is possibly best recognized as the woman cruising around the Art Yard in a floppy hat and possibly covered in paint with a contagious smile.
Every year, she conceptualizes what kids of all ages can create out of junk, always with a theme that inspires them to get their hands a little dirty and contribute to this amazing community sculpture project. (And if you're an adult, there's absolutely no shame in getting in there with the kids.)
