Call for Visual Artists

Completed applications from visual artists must be received no later than March 3, 2022 through Zapplication.

Application deadline is March 3, 2022. There is a $40 fee to apply to the show and artists who are juried in will pay a $600 booth fee ($700 for corner booths) for the 4-day festival.

The Utah Arts Festival is working to ensure we balance tradition and innovation. Going forward the number of consecutive years an artist has participated in the Utah Arts Festival will be taken into consideration as part of the final selection process. The Utah Arts Festival reserves the right to “rest” an artist for one year after three consecutive years of participation.

2022 Deadlines & Important Dates

  • March 3: Application deadline, Four images & $40 jury fee due.
  • March 5: Jury
  • March 18: Notification of jury decisions.
  • April 8: Booth rental fee due. Fee deposited upon receipt.
  • April 22: Final withdrawal date without forfeiture of booth rental fee.
  • June 22: Artist Check in / Booth Set Up
  • June 23 - 26: Utah Arts Festival

The Show

The 46th annual Utah Arts Festival is scheduled for June 23 – 26, 2022 at the Library Square in downtown Salt Lake City. The Utah Arts Festival is the largest outdoor multi-disciplined event held in Utah. Having garnered numerous awards internationally, nationally and locally, the Festival remains one of the premiere events that kick off the summer in Utah each June. More than 70,000 patrons enjoy four days of award-winning fine arts in the Artist Marketplace, live performances on five stages, a fine arts exhibition, film program, interactive arts program and culinary arts.
